Our Story
Egli Hobbs Elevator Consulting, LLC (EHEC) was founded by Kevin Egli and Steven Hobbs, who share a similar philosophy on the best way to provide vertical transportation consulting services to clients. Their common values and experience in the industry have shaped the company's approach to delivering exceptional services to their clients.

Kevin Egli
Founding Partner
Kevin is a highly experienced founding partner at EHEC, with over 27 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry. He has been involved in all aspects of the services offered by EHEC, from new construction design to maintenance and modernization consulting services. When he's not working, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dogs, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Steven Hobbs
Founding Partner
Steven is a founding partner at EHEC with more than 22 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry. He specializes in supporting existing buildings with maintenance and modernization consulting services as well as performing inspections. Steven earned his Qualified Elevator Inspector's (QEI) license in 2020 from NAESA.
Steven has been married for 17 years and has one son. In his spare time he coaches his son's soccer team.
